01Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using Vokna Studio ("Vokna", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not access or use the service. Continued use after any posted updates constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
02Eligibility & Organizations
Individual Users
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to open an account and generate audio.
Teams & Organizations
When creating an account on behalf of a business or entity, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.
03Service Features & Subscription Tiers
Vokna is a Generative AI voice studio offering four subscription tiers (Free, Starter, Professional, and Studio):
- 50+ voices across 10 major languages with multi-speaker dialogue script editing
- Co-Writer AI assistant for screenplay and narrative text drafting
- Persona Studio & zero-shot voice cloning capabilities
- MP3, WAV, and studio-grade audio exports
- Free tier (10k chars/mo, personal experimentation only)
- Starter tier (50k chars/mo, includes commercial license)
- Professional tier (250k chars/mo, voice cloning & commercial license)
- Studio tier (unlimited quotas, dedicated infrastructure, HIPAA/BAA compliance, and enterprise SLAs)
04Intellectual Property & Licensing
Your Input Rights
You retain full ownership of all text scripts, prompt instructions, and voice audio samples you upload to Vokna.
Output & Commercial License
You own all generated audio output. Commercial usage rights (monetized YouTube videos, podcasts, client work, products) require an active paid subscription (Starter, Professional, or Studio). Audio created on the Free tier is licensed exclusively for non-commercial personal evaluation.
05Acceptable Use & Voice Ethics
You agree not to misuse Vokna Studio. Specifically, you MUST NOT:
- Upload audio samples to clone the voice of any real individual without their express written consent.
- Use generated audio for deceptive impersonation, fraud, political disinformation, or non-consensual deepfakes.
- Synthesize defamatory, harassing, hateful, or illegal content.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or bypass subscription quota enforcement mechanisms.
06Enterprise & Studio Tier Terms
Studio Enterprise Service Level Agreements
Studio customers are governed by custom order forms incorporating dedicated Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) for HIPAA compliance, custom data retention policies, single-tenant worker isolation, and priority support SLAs. Enterprise billing terms are negotiated separately upon contact.
